Delete Account & Data — GO 2026

You can delete your GO account and your personal data yourself, directly in the app. Deletion happens immediately. You do not need to contact us, wait for approval, or visit this website to complete it.

How to delete your account in the app

In the GO app: Open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm, then confirm once more. What happens next: Your account and your data are erased straight away and you are returned to the sign-in screen. No administrator reviews or approves this, and there is nothing to cancel — once you confirm, it is done.

Delete without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email jygermany@jesusyouth.org from the email address of your GO account with the subject "GO app – delete my account". We verify that the request comes from the account's email address and delete the account within 30 days; you receive a confirmation once it is done.

What gets deleted

Conference registration (name, date of birth, contact details, family members, accommodation, emergency contact)	Deleted immediately when you are the last account linked to it (see note)
Live Q&A questions you asked	Kept — they are anonymous and contain no personal data (no name; only an internal ID that no longer refers to any account)
Prayer Bank counts you added	Kept — anonymous totals; your personal tally carries no name and is no longer linked to anyone
Record that a deletion took place (email address, date)	Kept for up to 90 days so we can answer questions about the deletion, then removed

Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It also removes your conference registration — you would lose your place at GO 2026. Registration is closed, so it cannot be restored from the app; you would have to contact the conference team. Please be sure before you confirm.

If your registration covers a family, it is only removed once the last family member with an app account deletes theirs. Deleting your own account never deletes anyone else's.
